Connected account
A connected account is a third-party account, such as an email, calendar, or file store, that a person links so an AI agent can read it on their behalf. The person approves the link.
What connected account is
A connected account lets an app reach data outside its own product. The person grants access to a service they already use.
Why it matters
- Much useful context lives in email, calendars and documents.
How it works in Harny
- A person connects gmail, calendar, drive, notion, slack or email_bridge by approving a link. They can disconnect later.
- Gmail, Calendar and Drive connect once Harny has approved Google access for the app.
Who approves a connected account?
The person approves the link to their own account. They can disconnect it later.
